Major Events
- 🌮 Hispanic Heritage Night — October 7, 2026 — setup, decor, hospitality
- 🍩 Donuts with Grownups — Oct, Dec, Feb, Apr — serving, setup, greeting families
- 🏃 APEX Obstacle Course — November 5, 2026 — we need 12 volunteers per run group for this one
- 🎄 Polar Express Extravaganza — December 10, 2026 — one of the most magical nights of the year
- 🎪 Greatest Show on Herff (GSOH) — March 19, 2027— our biggest fundraiser, all hands on deck
- 💛 Staff Appreciation Week — May 3–7, 2027 — help us celebrate the teachers who show up every day
- 🎓 5th Grade Graduation — May 2026 — help send our Hawks off in style
Year-Round Programs
- 🦅 Doc the Hawk Mascot Appearances — bring our beloved hawk to life at events
- 🐾 Watch D.O.G.S. — Dads of Great Students, spend a day on campus with your kid
- 🎒 Blessings in a Backpack — Thursdays at 9 AM, supporting students with weekend food needs
- 🍦 Ice Cream Sales — Fridays, help serve our Hawks a sweet end to the week
- 🖨️ Workroom Help — Monday–Friday during school hours, copying, laminating, prep work
- 🌲 Boerne Outdoor Academy — Oct 14–16, support 5th graders at Hermann Sons Life Camp in Comfort, TX
- 🏫 General Campus & Classroom Support — whenever you can, however you can
🔒 Before You Volunteer — Don't Forget Your Background Check 🔒
Boerne ISD requires all volunteers to complete a background check before stepping on campus. It's a simple one-time step — just allow 7–10 business days for processing and you'll be cleared to volunteer all year long.
