‘Tis the season for cozy weather, excited kiddos, and wrapping up a busy first semester! Here’s everything happening in December with your PTO. Thank you for being the heart of this incredible community — we truly couldn’t do any of this without you. ❤️

 

✨ November Event Updates

✨ APEX Update

A HUGE thank-you to our amazing families, teachers, and ADMIN for bringing APEX to our school again this year. The Big Event was a blast and the kids had an absolute Level Up kind of day! Your support helps us fund programs, events, and campus needs all year long.

 

 

🍁 Fall Smiles Staff Appreciation

In November, our PTO hosted a special Fall Smiles event to show our amazing teachers and staff just how much they mean to us. We surprised them with delicious lunch, cozy fall vibes, and a little extra joy to brighten their day.

 

Every staff member also received a gift card, thanks to the generosity of our Herff community and the support of our PTO fundraisers. It was our way of saying thank you for their dedication, heart, and the countless ways they make Herff a wonderful place for our children.

 
 

 

🎁 Teacher & Staff Holiday Treat Trolley

Our favorite sleigh-on-wheels is BACK!
We’ll be rolling out the Holiday Treat Trolley mid-December to spoil our staff with festive snacks, drinks, and goodies.
 
 

💚 Spirit Sticks – Cancelled for December

Please support the HES Kindness Club with their holiday sales before school and during lunch periods from now until December 19th.

Classroom Winter Parties are coming! Your Class Parents will send details for your homeroom soon. Please remember that all visitors must be signed in through the office.

About the Herff PTO

The Herff Elementary PTO is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Every event, fundraiser, and program you see is powered by parents and guardians who choose to give their time and energy for our kids.

 

No one here is paid—we do this because we care about supporting teachers, creating memorable experiences for students, and building a strong school community. Your involvement, whether big or small, truly makes the difference.

 

When we work together as volunteers, we lighten the load, cut out the noise, and focus on what matters most—helping our Hawks soar.

Treat Trolley

🍬 Treat Trolley Donations Needed! 🍪

Our teachers and staff work so hard every day, and we love surprising them with a rolling cart full of sweet and savory treats! 🎉 Help us keep the Treat Trolley stocked by sending in donations of individually wrapped snacks, candy, drinks, or other fun goodies. Every little bit brings big smiles and shows our appreciation! 💙

Donations can be dropped off in the front office anytime—thank you for helping us spoil our amazing Hawk staff! 🦅✨
